Hi there,

Sure this must be me not having enabled something, but bizarrely these buttons don’t do anything on the category pages or the product details page.

I’m running OpenCart 1.5.1.3 and not sure what Shoppica version it is but I only purchased in October and I used the 1.5.1 install files.

The rest of the site is fine thus far, just this strange thing. I only have a couple of test products in at the mo.

many thanks

Matt

Hi,

I’ve been investigating and it seems to be something to do with not finding the JSON library, see firebug error:

Error: Could not load library json! in /home/gadgetdr/public_html/system/engine/loader.php on line 23

I have been onto the OpenCart support forum and it was suggested “Shoppica is trying to call the old 1.5.1 method for loading json as library. In 1.5.1.3 it was moved to the helpers area and no longer gets loaded as a library. That 3rd party addon will need to be updated”

Can you shed any light and inform be what i need to do to resolve.

Regards, Matt

Hello Matt,

Could you give us your website address, so we could investigate the problem?

Also, did you check your Shoppica version? There was a similar issue in the previous versions. Perhaps, you haven’t updated with the latest one.

Best,

Hey ThemeBurn Team,

Thanks for the reply, just found the Shoppica version, it’s 1.0.8, weird thing is I bought in October from ThemeForest, could it have been out of date?

I’ve done an upgrade now and it’s sorted the issue.

Thanks and all the best

Matt

The 1.0.9 version was released on 8th of August, so it is kinda weird indeed. Maybe ThemeForest had some technical issues…

Glad you have downloaded the latest one after all and managed to solve the issue :)

Best,
ThemeBurn team
