Adding Personalization to a Product?

I have a product that requires the customer to enter a personalized name that will be engraved into the product. Is there a specific way to do this or is there a required pluggin? I tried to figure it out in the attributes, but I am not sure if that is it because what I’ve tried didn’t show up on the product page.

Hello,

This is what we found: http://www.woothemes.com/products/product-add-ons/ There is no built in option in Woocommerce to do this.
