Adding some text onto the theme

Hi Is it possible to add some static text onto the theme, I would lime this either jsut above the menu or below it. What im looking for can be seen here www . mytights . com The text sitting just under the menu is what I would like to achieve on my own shoppica themed site. Thank you	tightsboutique
