For particular products, while using Shoppica template, add to cart button is non-functional, item is not added to the cart (works in OpenCart default template). However if you are on the category page, and click the text “add to cart” it works fine.

You have modified the product template of the Shoppica theme and you have thus deleted an important field, which is used for the cart functionality. Return the default Shoppica product template and your issue should be resolved.
