ThemeBurn SupportForumsOpenCart ThemesShoppica 2 OpenCart ThemeBroken design after installation

This topic has been marked as not resolved.

Hello,

Sorry if this something that can be easily regulated but this is the first time I use Opencart and I did not find a solution. I just installed Shoppica2 and the design seems broken – check here:

Anybody know what may be the reason? Did I not installed something correctly?

Guys I am still nowhere even after reinstalling the whole store and uploading the Shoppica files again – clearly something is not loading properly. Please, just take a quick look and at least let me know what your thoughts are on the origin of the issue – i can try and fix it up myself

Hi,

We see some database errors at the moment. Is everything working with the default OpenCart theme?

P.S. Generally, we reply to oldest topics first. So, when you bump a topic (intentionally or not) it goes backwards in the support queue.

Hi, didn’t know the matter of the topics so I’ll keep this in consideration from now on.

As for the design, it’s still not working properly – a friend of mine tried to fix it, however he said it’s still needs to be work on; he asked me to refer (in case you need this information) that he changed the header.php in the TB folder and there was some issue with the CSS. I am leaving ftp login details below:

Thank you for your help

Hi again

host provider support said some permissions were not set properly on the stylesheet folder and stated they’ve fixed them – does it make any diff on your side? It’s still not working properly I think (look for example the layout type, I set it to be fixed and it’s not, color schemer does not work and so on) and it’s loading quite slow.

Hi,

You don’t need to do anything, the theme loads all the resources (html, css) perfectly now. You may need to clear your browser cache, if you experience problems, but it loads normally here.

The loading is not connected with Shoppica in any way. We’ve tried the default theme and we can see the lag there too. Most likely it is the hosting provider.

Hi,

We’ve installed an experimental cache plugin and thing got little bit better, but it is still your hosting that is guilty for the slow page load.
