In Kiddos blog all content in one column http://demo.themeburn.com/kiddos/2/blog. In Technopolis is in Two column http://demo.themeburn.com/technopolis/1/blog?page=2
Can I modify kiddos blog look like Technopolis?

Yes you can, but this option is available from BurnEngine 1.1.0. You need to make sure you have the latest version.
1) Go to Page Builder > Content > System page > Stories > Articles listing and edit the “Page Content” system block.

2) Set the “Display” option to “grid”

3) You need to do this for the Page Builder > Content > System page > Stories > Articles by tag scope as well.

Theme update should not break current settings. Of course, it is always a good practice to have a working database backup.
