How do I change the “White Space” that borders an image in the “Latest Products” and “Featured Products” list?

I have uploaded a sample. I just added the green background to show you the white around the picture I would like to change if possible.

Hi Brad,

Unfortunately, this is not a theme issue but rather a system behavior. This is how OpenCart resizes images that does not fit the aspect ratio defined by image settings in Admin > System > Settings > Image. Here is how images are proceeded by default:

1) Original image is resized to fit in the specified dimensions.

2) The space that is left around the image is filled with white.

What you could do is to either change the image sizes to fit the aspect ratio of your images, or use some third party extension that changes the default OC resize logic.

Thanks… I checked out the extension and it certainly does what I want…. I asked the developer if it would work with ThemeBurn (Pavilion)… we’ll see what the answer is.
