Changing display order of menu categories

Hi

Is there a way to change the alphabetical orientation of the menu categories.

Currently the menu items are arrange horizontally, ie A B C D
E F G H
I J K L

I would prefer the menu items to list vertically

A E I
B F J
C G K
D H L
