Hi there!

I’m using the Shoppica WordPress theme with the Woocommerce plugin. I’ve added several products which are shown on category pages, e.g. http://www.voorkoks.nl/producten/kookgerei/bakvormen/. I’ve also added a custom attribute “merk” (dutch for “brand”) to all products in my shop. All items for a specific merk/brand are shown on a brand page, e.g. http://www.voorkoks.nl/merk/kaiser/.

Here’s my problem: products for a specific brand are shown as a listing of blog posts / entries and not in the way as category pages are shown (grid, product thumbs, etc). How can I make these brand pages look the same as all other category pages in my shop?

Hi!

I’ve managed to get it somewhat working by copying the taxonomy-product_cat.php (and renaming it to match the custom attribute) to the shoppica theme folder instead of the woocommerce folder.

How can I add specific sidebar widgets to this custom attribute page? Should I do this in the template or can I assign them via the woocommerce plugin or shoppica theme settings?

Hello,

The only way is to put sidebar in template, you cannot assign it from woocommerce or theme settings.
