Customize top navigation on a store by store basis?

ThemeBurn SupportForumsOpenCart ThemesShoppica 2 OpenCart ThemeCustomize top navigation on a store by store basis?

This topic has been marked as resolved.

We have one main store that shows all of our products (only four) and then four secondary stores on a multistore setup with one product each. We would very much like to customize the top navigation on a store by store basis to include direct buy links to each of the products as well as external links.

I have been searching for and reading everything about this subject that I can find but have yet to find an answer. All the threads about editing the top navigation involve directly editing the theme’s header.tpl but this (as far as I understand things) would make the headings the same on all sites in the multistore setup and we need each one to be unique.

Can you please help? Is there a way to do this with your theme? Or are there any extensions that you are aware of that would accomplish this?

As always, thanks for your assistance.

Could you explain how to use this code a little more please. I am just starting on a multistore setup and I need to have a slightly custom menu on one store but not on the other.

Basically Main store = standard menu + one additional custom drop down
second store = standard menu
3rd store = standard menu

Thank you

@krazy4sales

Go to Admin > System > Settings and rollover the “Edit” button. You should be able to see the ID number at the end of the URL. Note that the ID of the primary store is 1.

Best,
ThemeBurn team
