I search the forum but did not find any solution.

We installed shoppica2 on our 1.5.4 store…
In the shoppica2 package there were no directories specific for 1.54 so we used 1.5.5.1
BUT in the documentation it says:
OpenCart_v.1.5.4.1 – use this folder if the version of your OpenCart installation is 1.5.4.1

anyway: I followed next steps for uploading 2 files shopica overrides:
/catalog/model/setting/extension.php
/system/engine/controller.php

and I tweaked index.php manually.

Installed shoppica2 CP in modules section

We set routes for home_ourshop, category_ourshop, product_ourshop as we have a multistore as we always do with multistores.

We added an intro using shoppica2 cp … that works
but also added a bannerset and added banners to it; they do not show up at all
we set default modules like the category module to show on left (shoppica sidebar is set to left)…. on a category page et cetera…. but they do not show either.

cleared whole caching, vqmod, PageCache engine ….. but it will not help.

what is the issue here?
