Yes, in fact you can see that facebook like box in the demo at http://www.shoppica2.com/ is changed to the default facebook look.

Hi,
Unfortunately, this might be the end of the like box customization
We will try to find a solution, but most likely we will have to get used to the sh*t, that facebook provides.

I have the same problem. The facebook widget has been working perfectly for about 1-2 months, but today the stylesheet is not working. I have made no changes to the system. Please see: http//www.natoband.nu/

We want to announce that facebook has cut off the possibility to insert custom css in order to customize the ‘like box’. Most likely it won’t be possible to bring the box design back. It has to stay with the default facebook style and this is true not only for Shoppica, but for every single ‘like box’ on every single theme for every single site out there.
We continue to search for solutions. If you happen to find a formatted ‘like box’ on the net, paste the link. We’ll give instructions on how to apply a basic formatting to the box in order to lessen its ugliness.
The reasons for this unexpected facebook move are completely unknown to us.

Maybe you could add the possibility to have the symbols of different social media services instead of the FB box? Please see attached photo for an example.

One thing that helps the look is to remover the negative top margin on the facebook widget box so that the footer headers all match again:
shoppica2/stylesheet/screen.css.php
find:
#facebook .s_widget_holder {
margin-top: -52px;
}
replace with:
#facebook .s_widget_holder {
margin-top: 0px;
}
or just place the new style in the css section of the Shoppica Module CSS section in the opencart backend.

Hi,
The upcoming Shoppica update will try to minimize the damage, but unfortunately the custom styling won’t be available any more.
Maybe we can replace the facebook like box with something else in the future.
