Featured products not appearing anywhere

Hi, I am using the category called Featured in Opencart and have added some products to it.  However, it does not show up anywhere I’d like it to appear:

- Featured does not appear as a category in my mega shop menu that should include all categories and subcategories (all other categories are showing fine here)

- It does not appear in my left column where I’ve added the “Categories” block

- I tried to add a “Featured Products” block to my home page and nothing appeared.

I’m using Opencart 2.0 and Pavilion version 1.2.5.  I had the same issue last week with Pavilion 1.2.4 – no change with the update. Help?  It seems like this category is invisible to Pavilion??

Hi,

Please, make sure you have:

1) Selected the Top option for the new category. This option can be found under the Data tab, when editing a category.

2) Cleared your theme cache from Theme Settings > System.
