Fix sub-categories on side bar

Hi, I have my categories on my side bar at the moment but they don’t show my sub-categories until I click in one of the categories. I would like it to ALWAYS show all the sub-categories even on home page before any category is clicked. I have attached a pic of what it looks like now when I am on my homepage (Home_current.jpg) and how I would like it to look (Categories.jpg). Any help on how to do this please? Thanks, Marin	Marinl
