Hi,
I have had a difficult time installing the Shoppica site. I am looking for someone that can help me complete my installation as well as installing the spanish language. ( http://www.labaguetterd.com/upload )
Whenever I try to enter the module with shoppica 2 in it..I get the following message:

HI I am still having problems with this issue…Above. Also, when I do anything to the Shoppica module within open cart..I get the following error message and get logged out of my admin account.

When I view the site I get the following error:

Hi there,
I am a qualified software engineer and have vast development experience with opencart.
I would need to do some more digging but from the look of your error there seems to be a corrupt image or an image with a false extension (maybe a png image wrongly named as a jpeg or something like that) uploaded and referenced to your cart.
This seems to be throwing the thumbnail script as it can not properly re-size the uploaded image you have referenced.
You would need to find this image and delete it!
The Notice on the front of the site is in relation to the “Welcome” Module enabled in your list of modules.
Simply disabling this module (uninstall) may remove your front page error, although i suspect the corrupt image issue will remain until that image is found.
I am willing to help, but am sure the moderators here will eventually solve your problem. If not feel free to reply and I will sort the issue out for you.

I am really having a hard time with this…the only two images I have uploaded are my logo and the avatar for the url… I had some problems with corrupted pngs for flags and what not…and I have had to go through and re-upload one by one, just to get the flags to appear. As I was looking around I found that the FILES TO UPLOAD folder from the new shoppica 2 version The image folder for ex. only has data and template folders. For some reason when I uploaded these they did not replace accurately…. I just don’t know what the hell is going on.. for some reason, the home icon is not present and the cart icon, arrows etc….arrrghhhh!! I would totally appreciate it if you could take a look… Let me know I can send you the pertinent info….BTW the site is labaguetterd.com/upload

No problem. Are you running this on a linux server?
Sounds like the whole installation needs checking. Just taken a look and now you have removed the logo the template seems to be running OK?
Have you checked your logo image?

Hi Peter,
I have taken a look at your shoppica issues.
There were multiple corrupt files and errors, I am not sure why but something went badly wrong when uploading the files.
Anyway, the good news is I have mended the installation and everything seems to be working exactly as intended now. All the images, icons and functions are back and working normally in both the administration and front end of the site.
The PHP errors were all image related as I suspected and this has been resolved.
In answer to your question, when you are ready to move the site “Live”, we can simply move the files to the root of your domain and alter the config files to make it work at http://labaguetterd.com instead of the /upload folder extension.
I can help you with this when you are ready and it will only take 5 minutes to achieve once all set-up.
