Hello
there was a topic I started last year to introduce a gif image and a message saying “wait for a moment” (or similar) when a customer finalizes a cart checkout, to help avoiding customers pressing any other key and messing things up while the systems processes the order. Of course this points to the default theme.
http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=131&t=39022
In Shoppica 212 this would be very helpful in two instances:
- When the cart checkout is being processed
- When the system processes a new customer account
If this could somehow be inserted in future shoppica revisions I think it would benefit everyone and add value to your already top theme
Meanwhile could you please help in how to introduce a little piece of code to achieve this in these two steps (cart checkout and customer account creation) ?
That would be really nice
thks in advance

Hi,
There is a loading animation between all checkout steps in OpenCart by default.
Isn’t this the same thing that you are talking about?

hello
thks for the reply
well I see a very small round animation on the left side of the screen on all steps, too small really to be noticed, and on the final step of confirmation of the sale nothing really appears, just the pause itself and this is where the problem lies, some customers might not notice and click somewhere else before the action is carried out properly
my main objective would be to enable this right after customer pressing the final confirmation as a big round animation right on middle screen with the additional text “hold on” (please check the given oc forums link) so to be noticed without a doubt
also would be nice on the customer account creation confirmation
if you give me some clue where to look for the correct place for these two maybe I could do it myself ?
thks in advance

It would be awesome if ThemeBurn add this feature to next release.

@ninogui
Unfortunately, this is not a trivial modification and could not be covered by the free support offered by this forum. We may add this feature in future updates, though.
