Horizontal Menu : Impossible to make less than 2 columns

Hi,

I have :

Category 1
- Sub category 1
– Sub sub category 1
– Sub sub category 2
– Sub sub category 3
- Sub category 2
– Sub sub category 1
…

The problem is :
When on top menu the mouse is on Category 1, Sub categories are displayed on 2 colums, and when mouse is on Sub category 1, the Sub sub categories are hidding Sub category 2, which creates problems of visibility.

I would like that Sub categories are displayed on one column to avoid this problem what whatever I do, I can’t make less than two columns.

Can you help me solving the problem ?

Infos : OC 1.5.1.3.

Thanks for your answer,
I don’t find stylesheet.css in catalog/view/theme/shoppica,
I have : 960.css, caroussel.css, cp.css, floatcart.css, ie.css, prettyPhoto.css, screen.css and slideshow.css,
