1) If you are starting your store from scratch, you could install demo data 2:

2) If you have any existing categories or products, then you could try to apply changes manually:

- Depending on, if you want to put the categories menu on the home page next to slider only (like in the demo), or in the left sidebar everywhere, you need to use Page Builder to insert that block:
