How to Edit PSD Files ?

Hi All.
First off can I say excellent theme and I am very happy with my purchase.
I have everything installed and up and running :o

Could anyone tell me how to or point me to a good guide on how to edit the Shoppica_home PSD image file to change the text and pictures and then save the image that I have edited on its own.
I have Adobe Photoshop elements 10 but am a bit of a novice with image editing.

Hi,

We are not familiar with Photoshop Elements. We’ve used Photoshop CS4 to create the file, but you shouldn’t have problems using CS3.

About how to use Photoshop, there are plenty of tutorials in the net to even try to recommend any :)
