How to remove hover effect from Top menu

Hi.
Currently, secondary colour is shown in a block as a hover effect for top menu items. I want to modify these settings to remove this effect. Please guide me where to find this.

Thanks for this code. It has worked partially.
On mouse over, background is not displayed but when focus is shifted to another menu item, background flashes for the previous menu. Also, hovering on home button makes it disappear.

Please help.

We’ve updated our previous code a bit. Now everything should be OK with the home button and the roll out flickering.

What is the browser/browser version, you are using, as we cannot see any flickering?

I’m using latest version of Chrome. Also tested on IE9 and 10.
Black background flashes while moving mouse cursor from one menu to another.
