Installation issue with VQMod installed

Hi I have just purchased the Pavilion them and I cannot get the installation to work with VQMod installed, I am using OC 1.5.6.4, Pavilion 1.2.2 and VQMod 1.4. If I copy over the supplied index.php I get a successful install message when accessing the website but if I manually update the file with the lines of code supplied in the install instructions I get the message saying that one the installation has failed for one or more of the following reasons, index.php not updated, new core files not copied across etc but all of these things have been checked several times. This is running on a local installation of WAMP so I cannot provide acces. Do you know why this may fail? Thanks Paul	rudders18

Hi I have resolved this issue by manually installing VQMOD after adding the Pavilion theme to my store. It does seem though to ignore most VQMOD XML files, I have a simple mod that displays category images on the home page. I have tried adding the normal OC category module as a TB widget too but this also make no difference. Thanks Paul	rudders18
