iSearch & Pavilion not working in sticky header search field

This topic has been marked as not a support question.

Hello,

We are using iSearch and when you scroll the page the header gets sticky, the search field in the sticky header is not calling the iSearch Route and therefore no search result is being displayed.

This happens when you load the page and scroll down a bit to make the header sticky. then in the search field enter a search term such as “sony”. That should bring some results but it doesn’t. Check out the route parameter in the URL as it doesn’t contain the search query.

Hi,

Since sticky header is generated (a script duplicates elements) every time you scroll, iSearch should be initialized for the newly created input element. Unfortunately, there is no way this could work out of the box and you should mod iSearch JS code.
