Hi,

We had a look at your website and we didn’t notice anything wrong. Could you describe, what are the problems with your Shoppica installation? It will be better, if you provide a little bit more information.

Best,

Hi Geoff,

We’ve told you that we didn’t see anything wrong, because we actually didn’t. You use the latest (by now) OpenCart and a relatively recent Shoppica (only one version below the current one) and everything loads normally without errors. We can’t go through the entire website to watch for bugs.

You can follow these steps, when you want to upgrade Shoppica:

Fresh new installation

1) Install OpenCart
2) Put latest Shoppica
3) Import database

Upgrade existing installation

1) Backup first
2) Upgrade OpenCart
3) Put latest Shoppica (you can upload all the files, or use these from the upgrade folder in the package)

If you want to modify Shoppica (your case), the best practice is the following:

1) Keep a changelog with the files, you have modified
2) When changing stylesheet, always put all your modifications at the bottom, or in a separate file. It is easier then to transfer everything in the upgraded version.
3) When changing templates, use a compare software for easier and more precise merging.

If you still have errors after the upgrade, we will gladly help you.

Best,
ThemeBurn team
