Menu with a background color

Hi, how do I add a new menu with a background color different from others, such as in your demo menu “Buy Theme” with a green background? I read the post and tried to make the changes as described. But when I add a submenu in this way is also changed the background color of submenu buttons (see image A). I’d like the submenu remain unchanged (see image B). It can be done? Thanks M.	iografico
