We were unable to identify the reason that prevents Shoppica2 from opening. It can be one of the many extensions you have installed. Can you try to make a new opencart installation in a subdirectory on the same server and install Shoppica2 there just to test if it works like expected ?

You have incorrectly uploaded the a ‘shoppica2′ folder into admin/controller/module. There is a file name with the same name – shoppica2.php and opencart tries to open the directory as file, which leads to error and consequently the ‘not found’ page. Just delete the admin/controller/module/shoppica2 folder and your issues should be resolved.

Sorry for the delayed solution, but as we try to resolve installation issues, we assume that the most basic installation instructions (which are described in detail in the docs) are kept, such as the correct upload of the theme’s files. That’s why we first look for bugs in the theme, then in opencart, which may cause the errors and this takes some time. Here the combination of the wrong directory structure and the missing opencart check to distinguish directories from files led to such a weird and hard to find bug.

Can you do it for me? I am scared that I will delete the wrong file.

Just delete the whole admin/controller/module/shoppica2/ folder. Alternatively you can rename it, to admin/controller/module/shoppica2/__shoppica2/, for example.

Hi,

You can insert intro slideshow from Shoppica 2 CP > Intro and setup the Facebook widget from Shoppica 2 CP > Footer > Facebook.
