How I can move the search box to the Categories bar or underneath the shopping cart area

I want to make the search bar a bit smaller. I tried to change the width on catalog/view/theme/shoppica2/stylesheet/screen.css.php … here

.s_static #site_search input {

float: left;

float: right;

width: 100px;

but did not work, any advice
