Problem with sample data

I bought your excelent Shoppica WP theme.
I have problem with sample data.. I think I did everything properly, but my site doesn’t look like your theme sample page. I uploaded sample data file, but O even don’t have such page like ‘Home’ to choose in ‘Reading settings’ according to your instruction in section Page setup.
I am using the shoppica theme on my wordpress with woocommerce.
Any help would be really appreciated !

Hello,

You uploaded only WooCommerce sample data which contains only products not pages, post, testimonials, portfolios.

If you want your site to look like our demo store, you have to import

and configure your widgets.

1) We don’t have option to disable Search, but we will include this in next patch.

Hi,

I have the exact same issue. I have just installed the theme on http://www.freshlimemedia.in/clients/lkk
but it looks nothing like the showcase setup on your site. can you please guide me as to what do i need to do to make the site look similar to yours?

I hope that there is no CSS issue with the files and everything is in order?

Hi

I managed to figure out most of the options to set up a demo site :)

The sample data does not setup the website exactly as the online demo, but as you said widgets cannot be imported / exported so I guess there is really no work around to that. However there are some other options which can be and should be included in the sample data (intro, gallery settings etc.) to make it easier / faster to setup.

hi,
just installed the theme. I’m having the issue with the sample Data as well. also, after importing all of the 3 included xml files some of the images seem dead.

Yes I managed to solve that issue.

However, I’d like to get the slider that was shown on the theme demo love on the site. How is this achieved? Do you have a slider you can export so that I can import it into the theme slider?

Slider is imported automatically when theme is activated. Please check in your LayerSlider section.
