With Opencart 1.5.3.1 and Shoppica 2.1.3 + a couple of SEO Vqmods we have managed to rank no. 1 in Google using our most important search words, which we are very happy about.
But some issues with this installation forces us to update the shop which we at doing on our testserver.
But now we have run in to a problem with one of the SEO url’s Vqmods which creates better urls when clicking a product from the Home page: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=6890
The shop simply crashes totally and we can see no error messages anywhere.
We had no luck finding a solution in Opencart forums and the developer does not seem to respond to customers on the Opencart website.
So without saying it has anything to do with Shoppica, I am just kindly asking if you think, this problem could be Shoppica related? What can we look for. Its i like searching for a needle in a haystack.
We have off course disabled all other Vqmods so the installation is Opencart 1.5.5.1 and Shoppica 2.2.4 and the mentioned Vgmod.
Have also tried this Vqmod but it also makes everything crash. http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=5023
We are offcourse nerveous about loosing our Google ranking.

In order to get any advice, you have to display the php error, which occurs. First, try to put this line on top of your index.php file (after the opening <?php) tag: ini_set("display_errors" , 1);
If you are still seeing a blank page, you could ask your server administrator to change php settings to show errors or send you the php error log.

Problem solved. An update to the latest version of Vqmod made the first of the mods working again. Nice!
