This topic has been marked as not resolved.
I am hoping someone can help me with detailed instructions please. I purchased this a while back and never used it so I am ready to put my website together. I currently have several domains with blue host and used simple scripts to install opencart. I am using the latest version of Shoppica(version 2) and Opencart (1.5.41) Is the only file I need to DELETE from OpenCart the Install directory? Also, I understand Shoppica wants me to replace the files listed and I can easily ftp the admin, catalog, system and image folders. Where do I put the tb extensions and tb themes folder contents when I ftp upload them. (meaning what folder do I upload them to or do I just put them in a new folder in the directory?) The instructions given for Installing Shoppica make no mention of these files which has me confused. So I have OpenCart installed and downloaded the Shoppica package. I understand how ftp works and how to make changes via ftp just need clear directions for actually installing Shoppica and which files to replace where. Thanks in advance. |

Hi mate, We don’t know if we can explain the installation process in a simpler way, than we have done in the documentation, but: 1) Install OpenCart 1.5.4.1 2) Open the theme package 3) Browse theme package -> shoppica_v.2.2.1 -> OpenCart_v.1.5.4.1 folder 4) Upload all files inside the FILES_TO_UPLOAD folder and overwrite the existing once on prompt. Put the files in the installation root. 5) Browse theme package -> shoppica_v.2.2.1 -> Additional -> OpenCart_v.1.5.4.1 folder and upload the index.php file in the installation root. 6) Go to OpenCart administration and activate the theme from System › Settings › Edit Store settings › Store tab › Template dropdown 7) Go to Extensions › Modules. Here you must install Shoppica 2 CP module (click on the ‘install’ link). Best, |
