Product Slideshow Intro Banner – Description

How can I make more of the description show in the product slideshow? It’s only showing the first few words but I’d like to show at least a couple of sentences.

I was looking around in the shoppica_intro_banner_products.tpl but haven’t had any success. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Hi Guys,

just additional comment on this – I guess it will not work all the time nicely for non-english languages. What helped me – replacing substr with mb_substr.

Hi,

Thanks for the hint. We have this in mind, but we recommend utf8_substr($var) to be used instead, as mb_substr is not supported by all hosts.
