Product variations not working?

ThemeBurn SupportForumsWordPress ThemesShoppica WordPress ThemeProduct variations not working?

This topic has been marked as resolved.

I have a product setup with variations and it was working before woocommerce 2.0 update and theme update.

Not sure what is wrong and how to fix it? can you take a look?

Hi,

You didn`t added the variations correctly. We added one for guide on this product: http://www.tangytangerine.ca/v2/shop/proone-traveler/

Hi, I used your guide and then adjusted for what I need, spent two hours and cannot get it to work :(

Can you look at what I have now for that same product posted above and see why it won’t work?

I basically want the product listed with no accessories as the default option selected, and if the customers wants to add the optional accessory they can.

Seems so simple but it will not work!

Hello,

Sorry but this is not theme related problem, you have to read WooCommerce documentation and ask in their support forum.

Ok I figured out how to get it to work, perhaps there is a glitch with Woocommerce right now.

Do not try to create the attributes on the product page, create them via the Products – Variations menu on the left side WordPress admin bar. Save them and then visit the product page and add the attributes you created and then setup the variations and it works!!!

Whew!! hopefully woothemes cleans that feature up in the future as it’s a bit unintuitive until you get the hang of it.
