Hi @amdetails!

You data shouldn’t be lost when you do the upgrade. You should backup all of your files and database first. Then delete the files and upload the latest opencart version. Then you should browse to yoursite.com/install/ to do the database upgrade. Test if everything is working with the default theme and then install Shoppica 2.

Hello guys,

Installed a fresh version of Opencart V1.5.1.3, and installed the same version of shoppica 1 that my database was running one. installed all the modules i needed so that the data base tables looked the same. then added the data from my site.

So now i have a Clean install. no hard coding in files or custom code. so upgrading easier in future.

I then with this new clean build. upgraded to 1.5.4.1 OC and the latest shoppica and all ran perfectly.

Installed shoppica 2.

Went thoguh your installation process and moved index.phop etc

Admin modules i uninstalled all shoppica 1 modules.

I still have this redirect when trying to save features on the new shoppica 2CP but so far it only seems to happen with things in the design tab as i was able to install the footer functions etc. Face book etc.

I noticed you had FTP access to another site and edited the config file ina dmin. i tried this but then site failed so bellow is my access info. hopefully you can find the error.

Thanks

Hello Alan,

Is the problem still valid?

We have logged in your administration (shop.amdetails.co.uk/admin – the new version) and had no problems to save settings from the theme control panel.

Please, try to add this to the beginning of your .htaccess file:

<IfModule mod_security.c>
SecFilterEngine Off
SecFilterScanPOST Off
</IfModule>
