Remove CART completely

We sell large granite structures and require 50% upon order. I was trying to figure out how to have opencart charge 50% of the price upon online order, but have not figured it out. So as a plan “B” I’m wondering how to remove the CART system completely and have the site be more of a brochure with prices, specs etc. but with “call to place order” instead of “add to cart”. Hi Frank, 1) You can try to check Admin > System > Localization > Taxes 2) Or disable cart from Pavilion CP > Theme Settings > Store > Common. BR, ThemeBurn team	TB Support

WOW, I did the Pavilion CP > Theme Settings > Store > Common… and it removed the cart from everything perfectly except the product page. any ideas, how to take off the product page? You guys have thought of everything! Cheers, Frank	looserfoot

Forgot to add that if you turn OFF the Cart and checkout it removes it from everywhere BUT the product page. I tested the ADD TO CART button and it doesn’t work, it shows the spinning circle like it trying to do something but never does. So I seems to be totally disabled but still showing. Missing that one last something.	looserfoot

We have fixed this issue on your server. The ‘add to cart’ button does not appear anymore when you uncheck the option in the admin area. The fix will be applied in our next minor update. Thank you for your time, ThemeBurn team	TB Support

With this in place we can now make a e-commerce site into a catalog / brochure site or vise-versa with a ONE SWITCH BUTTON click!. This is HUGE. Our company has not really decided whether to go the full e-commerce accounts, carts, etc. or take orders over the phone. The nature of our product is more “phone” friendly. Thanks, Again	looserfoot
