I would like to know if its possible to remove or “hide” selected information items from the header menu. I have tried setting the ones I want to hide to “-1″ on the sort order as this hides them from the footer like default OC does. For some reason they still show in the header. How can I adapt the menu code to behave like default OC footer when information items are set to -1
Thank you

Hi,
OpenCart has never had information menus in the main navigation (header). The option to hide menus has always been applied only for footer menu. Older versions used the “sort order” -1 option and newer replaced it with the “Bottom” checkbox.
We would consider this as a feature for future versions
P.S. Generally, we reply to topics in the order they are received or updated, but sometimes we need more time to check a specific case. This also means that, when you bump a topic (intentionally or not) it goes backwards in the support queue.
Best,

Hi,
It appeared that the modification is easier to do than we thought
Here is a full step by step tutorial, how to use Sort Order -1 for the top menu:

Hope this will help.
