Removing the Brands section from the front page

Hi,

 

I would like to remove the section that has the pictures of brands (apple, HP etc) Since the web site is for a bakery and the only brand that we sell is our own. I spent a lot of time trying many different things, and looking through the forum with no luck.

Hello Peter,

The module used for brand cycling is called Carousel. Just go to Admin > Extensions > Modules > Carousel and disable it.

If you use Shoppica 2, you can further disable the brands entirely from the theme CP. Unfortunately, you will have to use your brand, when adding new producs.
