Responsive CSS issue affecting welcome text, brand carousel and banners

ThemeBurn SupportForumsOpenCart ThemesShoppica 2 OpenCart ThemeResponsive CSS issue affecting welcome text, brand carousel and banners

This topic has been marked as resolved.

Fresh install of opencart-1.5.6, and also of shoppica_v.2.2.4
Tested in FF 23.0.1, IE10, IE9
Tested on WAMP server 2.2, and also live web server with Justhost (not currently live, it was just a test)

So the issue I have is when I re-size the browser down, so the themes responsiveness kicks in at level 1.

This is how I see the responsiveness works:
level 0
level 1 (narrowing browser)
level 2 (narrowing browser more)
level 3 (narrowing browser more) (cell phone)

The welcome text, brand carousel and banners all go crazy and shoot off to the right somewhere, at level 1 only, attached in a screenshot.

The weird thing is that browsing http://www.shoppica2.com the issue isn’t present.

have you experienced this before ?
Hopefully you can figure this out,
thanks

chris

It seems the issue is with the carousel module, if I disable it, every looks correct …

I’d still quite like to use it so a fix would be lovely.

thanks

Just tried out this code, the carousel now doesn’t respond irrationally which is good news,
however it looks like the width of the carousel, and therefore the welcome text is that of level 0 (its too wide), see IMG1

This has also introduced the same width issue on the product description page, and checkout page (possibly other pages) see IMG2

thanks !
