The photos in my blog posts do not resize when I view them on my iPhone – e.g. they extend off the side of the screen. How do I make my posts look correct on different size monitors?
I saw the previous topic about a similar issue and the person resolved it by reformating his pages using the visual composer – but I don’t think this is possible for blog posts?
Thanks!

OK – I’ve now found the option to turn on visual composer for Posts (Settings > Visual Composer for anyone interested – it was only turned on for Pages as standard).
So I guess in theory I could go back and edit my past blogs (basically recreate them using visual composer), but this would be a nightmare. Is there any other way I can make the photos in my already published posts responsive to screen size?
Thanks!

Hi,
The problem is that you have that wraps the images, remove the custom style=”width:810px” and it will look okay on your iphone.

Where do I remove the custom style=”width:810px” from? I can’t see it in the stylesheet. The size of the photo is defined as 800px in the ‘edit image’ screen via the post editor, but I don’t think that’s what you mean.
Thanks,
Ryan

Hi,
Check with HTML mode, and remove the style.

This only appears to work if I also remove the caption and paste the text as normal body text under each image. This will be a lot of work to do this for each image in each post…
Any better suggestions?
Thanks!

Brilliant – it works perfectly, thanks! I no longer even have to remove the custom style size HTML from each image. Pasting those few lines of code has literally saved me hours of fiddling to get my blog posts responsive to browser size.
Thanks again!

Actually…on further inspection it’s not quite perfect – now the caption box sticks out slightly on the right side of the photo when the screen is at full size (if I reduce the size of my browser so the images become responsive, the caption falls back in line with the photo).
Any ideas? It’s not massively noticeable, but I have zero chance of working out a solution on my own unfortunately.
Thanks for all your work!
