SEO Friendly URLs

Hi there,
Using OC 2.2 and the latest Pavilion update. I setup SEO friendly URLs, had the hosting provider setup the rewrite files for IIS. However when I selected a product there was no image. When I logged in to the admin the ThemeBurn icon was just a question mark, but I clicked on it anyway. The ThemeBurn builder just kept displays “Loading” but never appears.
Currently I have unset all the SEO Friendly settings and commented out the rewrite file and everything is back to normal. Any suggestions or ideas would be very welcome.

Hi,

We’ve tried and logged into your admin and BurnEngine panel without any problems. Is the above problem still valid? Generally, there is no link between SEO urls and BE control panel.

We’ve also tried to enable your SEO urls and none of the website product pages was working at all. Haven’t dealt with Windows server, but you will need an alternative of the original OC .htacess file.

I understand, so what I have done is re-enabled SEO Friendly URLs on the IIS server side and in OC 2.2. So they are working again. However the images are not showing up in the product display and I can not get the ThemeBurn panels to show up under OC admin.

Please update this ticket when you have had a look and if we can not resolve the issue I can get the system operational again by turning of IIS reWrite.
Thanks
Brad

Hi Brad,

It seems that there are some problems with htaccess:

1) Product images are not loaded due to a missing JS (system/vendor/BurnEngine/extension/fire_slider/catalog/view/javascript/mightyslider.min.js. However the file is actually at place, when checking with FTP.

2) Similar thing happens in the admin panel.

OK, we can leave this ticket active for now. I will get in touch with the hosting service and paste your response to see if they have to adjust something in the IsapRewrite4.ini file. (Windows version of .htaccess)
Stay tuned.
Thanks
Brad

The hosting provider has made some updates to the IsapiRewrite file and SEO URLs now seems like it is working to what I feel is proper. I’ll go through some tests and then have them apply the same changes to the production system.

Thanks for your help.
