I see via your Youtube vid that you run shopicca on a local host
I have xamp installed and am getting various errors because of external links to such places as google apps.

Is there a way i can get round this as i would like to test and modify on local server before uploading to my site?

We’ve never published a Youtube video anywhere :)

Generally, Shoppica installs perfectly on a localhost with (almost) no difference from public server installation. The only problem we are aware until now is the facebook styling.

External link errors could be due to HTTPS misconfiguration.

sorry, my error, it’s the multi vendor module that has a youtube video.

the errors i get are to do with the google hosted scripts in your header.
when i change to normal/basic theme, its fine.

Hi,

The external jquery library shouldn’t be a problem (at least they haven’t caused troubles to us). If however they are for you, you can replace it with a local one. Just take the links from the default theme header.tpl:

<script type="text/javascript" src="catalog/view/javascript/jquery/jquery-1.6.1.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="catalog/view/javascript/jquery/ui/jquery-ui-1.8.16.custom.min.js"></script>
