Hi,

Very nice shop, indeed! Like the background pattern :)

Maybe you can put thematic background for the different sections (boys and girls) and a custom font… But maybe it could go too much :)

Thanks guys,

I was actually going to change the background on different categories, I did it and it looked a little out of place, I may still do something but need to find the right colour balance!

Thanks for your feedback!

What a beautiful site!! Everything is very well done and I especially like how all the colors and images combine to make the site welcoming.

I love seeing sites like these as it gives me ideas on what I could do to make my own more inviting. One question I had, how did you get the slideshow to appear on the front like that with the five banners surrounding it?

My own site is fitnesschalet.com

It’s still a work in progress as I’m still adding in products… But I’m a little stuck on designing the homepage. Thanks!

Hi zeroms,

Great personalisation, especially the homepage.

May I ask what have you done (changed) in the slider?. I am looking for something very similar to what you’ve done but I don’t know where to start. Any hint/tip will be appreciated (note: newbie here!)

Thanks

One more question if I may:

how do you customise the ‘header’ for each CATEGORY (Gift for Boys, Gift for Girls, etc.)???. I’d like to include a full width image like in your shop and remove the text title too.

I can’t find the relevant option!. I suspect it has something to do with “Catalog>Categories>Edit>Design” and then change the default ‘layout override’ which is blank by default to something else but I do not know for what. But then, does it mean I would have to manually edit the relevant .tpl??? (…which by the way I have no idea where’s located!)

Thanks a lot!!!!
