This topic has been marked as not a support question.
Hello! How can I keep the 3rd level (horizontal) category menu showing? I found the same question answered on the Shoppica 1 forum, but I am using Shoppica 2. It’s here: I’ll use an example from the http://www.shoppica.net site to explain better what I am trying to do. When I click on Electronics>Digital Cameras, a grid list of the available products is being shown. Above it, there are links to the categories “Compact Cameras” and “Digital SLR”. (see screen1.png) When I click on “Compact Cameras” a new grid list is being shown, but the category menu “Compact Cameras” and “Digital SLR” disappears (see screen2.png). I would like to keep it showing. How can I do this? |

Hi, When you go to Digital Cameras, you can see the list of the subcategories of Digital Cameras. When you go into Compact Cameras, you can’t see a subcategories list, because there aren’t such one for the selected (sub)category. Unfortunately, messing with categories is not a trivial modification and could not be covered by the free support offered by this forum. You may post your question in the official opencart forums, or seek a freelancer to do the job for you. P.S. The topic you have given as an example does a modification to the main navigation and not the subcategories list Best, |
