Sort MENU

This topic has been marked as not a support question.

Hello, congrats for the shoppica v 2. It is awesome.

Is there a way to put the category menu to be sorted with the content of the website? I wanted to be able to shift the category menu to be displayed under my features items which is sorted as #3 in my content.

Hello Gustavo,

We are not very sure, we 100% understand, what you have in mind exactly.

Can you describe a little bit more? A screenshot will help a lot.

Hello,

I just wanted to check if it is possible to switch the NAVIGATION MENU’s position.

Let’s say my page is setup like this:

header
navigation menu with categories
banner
featured
footer

I would like to sort the below like this:

header
banner
featured
navigation menu with categories
footer

Tks

Hi Gustavo,

Generally, you can change the place of the different elements, but you will have to edit a lot of templates:

1) Cut navigation from catalog/view/theme/shoppica2/template/common/header.tpl.

2) Open every single template and paste the navigation below the banner and then move the Content Top area (<?php echo $content_top; ?>) above the navigation.

3) Reassign all your modules above (Content Top) and below (Content Bottom) navigation

Hope, this will help you.

Best,
