Store – Product listing – Element visibility doesn't work

This topic has been marked as resolved.

Hello.

I have been upgraded my site from OC 2.0.3.1 to 2.1.0.2 and surely upgrade Pavilion to 1.2.9 (by manual from your website).

I tried to hide the price on:
Store – Product listing – Element visibility

however it’s doesn’t work like other properties in Store – Product listing – Element visibility.

Also there are no this kind of troubles on OC 2.0.3.1

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Hi,

We’ve checked your website and it seems you have custom settings for:

- Home page – Featured and Latest products
- All Categories – Products system block

This means that no matter what you have saved in Theme Settings > Store > Product Listing, you will have these settings overwritten for each block. You will have to either edit settings for each block, or set the block to inherit from default settings.

Looks OK. It’s possible to use this way to hide price everywhere (in categories in product pages and etc)?

Thank you.

Also when I switch “Login Display Prices” to YES, this affect for “Add to cart” button becomes inaccessible (disappears), not like in default template. However it is easiest way to hide the prices.

How I can resolve this problem?

I just need to hide the price everywhere.

Hi,

We will have to take a look at the “login to display prices problem”. About just hiding prices, it will be a lot easier to disable custom settings for all product listing blocks (Latest, Featured, All Categories > Products etc.) and control setting only from Theme Settings > Store > Product listing.

After some checking I can say that most useful and easiest way to hide the price everywhere without brocking design and etc. is switch “Login Display Prices” to YES, but this affect for “Add to cart” button and it becomes inaccessible (disappears), not like in default template.

Waiting a decision.

Finally i just would like to hide price on all pages (may be not in source code) and most usefull way to hide the price everywhere for one click (and in checkout too) is using “Login Display Prices” in admin panel of OpenCart.

How about my last question with hide the price everywhere without brocking design and etc. is switch “Login Display Prices” to YES, but this affect for “Add to cart” button and it becomes inaccessible (disappears), not like in default template.

Because this is most usefull way to hide the price everywhere for one click (and in checkout too).

Only one question. Where is “Add to cart” button after this option switch to YES like on default template. If this button will be available – it will resolve all my question.

Hi,

If in the default theme the cart button stays, when you hide the prices with “Login Display Prices” set to ON and in Pavilion it does not, then there is some problem we need to check and fix. Will try to provide a fix asap.
