Hi,
Half day I spend to understand why I cant change thumb size of categories, but result is nothing. I tried do same on Technopolis theme and there all is good. That I understand pointless do something, that’s why I asking you.
Where I do this changes on cms you can see in image “1cms.png”.
Result every time the same, no matter which number I chose thumb size.

Hi,
No matter now big is your image (in your case 450×450) it cannot be larger than the container that holds it. If you have for example a container that is 800px wide and you have 4 items per row, then your category cannot be wider than 200px (800 / 4).

What you said I understand. 450 was just example. I decreased thumb size till 40×40 px, but no changes I see. See at the image “thumb-size-1.png”. There you can see changes.
I made 2 examples for you:
First
Thumb size – 80×80
Items per row – 2
Secont
Thumb size – 270×270
Items per row – 4
… in frontend images size not 80×80, not 270×270 but every time 150×150 px.
P. S.
My screen resolution at this time 1366×768. On another loptop full HD. I do some changes on technopolis ant there I see changes.
I have no ideas?

You ignoring my question #63138, because you are wrongly convinced. You not even checking my problem. You just know how it must work and say this way. But I know too that. I can save a lot of your time for you, at mine own expense. I made a movie where you can see differences in technopolis and in kiddos. In kiddos not working. Video you can see in hidepost. If you will need login data, that you can see post #63138 hidepost.

Hi,
This problem has not been ignored. It is a bit more tricky to resolve. We’ve got two local installations with OC 2.3 and the problem is that one works and the other not. We are still trying to find out why.
You can use the following workaround if you want:
1) Go to Page Builder > Content > All categories and edit the “Subcategories” block:

2) Disable the “Use global category settings” option and set subcategories options from here.

Thanks for your reply.
All is working if I do steps which you show. I will use it when I need.
Now I want just ask. What impact will have to the pages if I turn off “use global category settings”? For example now in subcategories image’s Thumb size is 250 px and “use global category settings” is “on”. In frontend I see Thumb size is 250 px. I turned “off” images in frontend still 250 px. Of course if I can always I use global setings. But now if I turning off and see no changes for what is this global?
Anyway, basically I understand for what Global is using, but not this time? But here no problem, just a lack of knowledge of how and when to use some of the tools available.

Hi,
There is no difference if you use global settings or define custom settings from Page Builder. There is a problem that is specific to this version and that is why you need to use this workaround this time.

Here no problem when I now way how to do that  Of course when will be newest version I would like update but problem I very afraid do that, because my project is going to finish and before I tried few times update TEST pages and never be OK. I exported data and after import Always I sow bad result. Just exported, updated and imported. After that another TEST project was very different and I don’t know why. But here is no question, because from this my post impossible know why.
Do you know when can be new update?

There will be a bugfix update in a week. We are also working on the OC3 compatibility, but don’t have a release date there.
About your import/export issues – there is no reason to have problems with this feature. If you provide more information we may be able to help.

When I get information about newest update (not 3.x version) I will try update TEST page and if I will have some problems I say about that with examples.

We are sorry we were not able to help you in time. In fact our entire support service has been missing for the last 30 days due to company issues.
