Theme causes parts of visual editor to stop working

This topic has been marked as not resolved.

As the topic title says, activating this theme causes the insert / edit link in the visual editor to stop working. The only plugin enabled is WooCommerce. I’ve tried disabling WooCommerce and reverting themes but the problem returns when Shoppica is re-enabled.

Hello,

Visual Composer is causing this bug, we are working on fix. We will post the solution here.

For now you can disable Visual Composer from Settings -> Composer.

The persons working with the site are not capable of creating html links so the Visual Editor needs to be functional before they can begin placing links. Disabling it completely is not an option.

When should I expect a patch to be issued?

Just hopping in as I just started making posts and I noticed too that in both visual composer and in classic mode that when the link button is pressed no pop up window appears. I downloaded the patch above and updated the jquery.isotope.min.js file and that has not fixed the problem for me. I am using version 1.1 Is there something else that needs to be done?

Hello,

Shoppica 1.1 is very old version, please download latest one 1.2.2.
