Theme is very slow

Hello,

I have used this theme for a few WooCommerce websites and they all run super slow regardless of bumping up memory, caching or product count. There appears to be so many scripts and maybe they are interfering with operating efficiently. Its the wp-admin mostly that is the issue with this theme.

I cant update my pages in the visual editor or the basic editor, cant add images anymore, my changes almost never stick, the admin runs so slow and all the sites with this theme that I designed have had major issues. I tried deactivating all plugins with no luck. I have not updated to WP 3.7. WooCommerce has told me it is not their plugin causing this and GTmetrix.com says the scripts are an issue. Our host, Bluehost says it’s the development.

Can you please help me figure out what the issue is here? Thank you so much!

I did a comparison of 3 of the sites using your theme that are running very very slow and have issues and they all fail “leverage browser caching” as seen in the attachment

We just checked and your site speed is not very slow, yes it is not opening immediately but its not that bad.

Which browser do you use?

About the plugin you requested it is only for Open Cart not for WordPress.

We will continue with testing and will let you know if we find anything.

Thank you. WP-ADMIN is the slow part (particularly when accessing databases like orders, etc) and most importantly above all, I cant save changes in my pages. When I make a change, update, it doesn’t reflect. Then when I try to remove any added text and update a page, the text is still there. Changes are not reflected. ALL browsers are affected, this is not a browser issue at all. Chrome, Firefox and Safari all do the same thing. This is definitely a theme issue at this point. When I use another theme, it works fine however we need Shoppica to work please. I appreciate it :)

Also, when I try to update or delete plugins, it doesn’t reflect that I updated or deleted plugins afterward. When try to deactivate individually using the plugin link, it deactivates the plugin below or above it. I have to use the checkbox and do them one by one.

When I try to save settings they don’t stick (like the pages), I cant get the plugins to save settings at all. I cannot navigate without severe lag and it’s unbearable. I have had 3 people try with the same results no matter what browser or OS. It is the theme for sure. Only my sites with this theme is effected. If it cannot be fixed then I would really love a refund so I can buy a new theme (other themes do work for this just fine but I like the look and functionality of Shoppica IF it works like it is supposed to)

I am sorry for being frustrated but my clients and I are really tired of this and its losing everyone business as a result. Even front end customers report glitches…too many to list.
