Translation of dropdown list contents

Hi,

I would like to translate the content of some dropdown lists, but i can not find the files where i can translate them.

I.E. : I want to translate/change Orders Statuses from “Pending” to ” In asteptare”, or from “Shipped” to “Expediat” and so on.

Can you please guide me to where i can find proper files/code?
