Hello,

i translated global.lang.php to swedish, but i get problem with the characters åäö, and when saving the file to utf-8 the characters appear as normal, but the website gets disoriented. how can i get these characters showing without affecting website structure?

Hi,

Make sure your main Swedish language file is save with UTF-8 without signature (BOM) encoding. Generally this is the main cause of not aligned websites under IE browsers.

it worked. Notepad didn’t have that option, but i found out that notepad++ did have this option.
