Hello TB,
Recently I’ve switched to Shoppica 2 and I’m absolutely loving it!

In order to launch my updated store I need you to help me with a modification that I can’t handle myself.

Basically I need two things.

When item quanitity is 0 then:

1) “Add to cart” button is disabled (so customer can’t click it and can’t add the item to cart) and label is changed to “Sold Out”
2) transparent soldout.png is placed on top of item image

With the old template I used vqmod to change “Add to cart” button but it doesn’t work with Shoppica for me.

I’ve attached an illustration that I made in Photoshop to give you the idea of this modification.

I would appreciate your help.
Regards,
Max.

Hi Max,

We have already discussed how you can make a check, whether a product is out of stock. The examples are not 100% similar to your request, but they will surely help you.

Thank you for these links, with their help I managed to come up with the modification. Not exactly what I wanted in first place but good enough for me.

Regards,
Max.
