Adding Static image on home page

I am trying to add an image on the home page, that has a static position, i tried adding the html in the home.tpl and adding some css to it, but it doesnt work, can anyone please help me on this. Thanks	oikonomakis

Hi Apologies for buggin, i was looking to see how to delete this post, as i found the answer i was looking for. I do on the other hand need an answer on this http://support.themeburn.com/topic/not-sending-emails as my website is not sending emails to the customers. Thanks for your reply	oikonomakis
